Applications are invited for a PhD position in the field of Computer Vision in the Vision Image Processing and Sound (VIPS) group at the Dept. of Computer Science of the University of Verona (Italy). The position is for three years full time officially starting in Jan. 2012.
The research activity is in the field of Structure and Motion recovery in large scale (urban) environment and model acquisition from images. The aim is to produce 3D models (polygonal meshes and high level primitives) of buildings and objects starting from uncalibrated images.
